What to have on the screen
One daily sales receipt is the whole homework. Cover the guest names if any are printed. Leave the item names visible. If the night mixed food and a drink consumed at the table, both items should still be readable. If a gift card was sold, bring the item that received it. If the card batch is still open, bring the batch total and the deposit that was supposed to match it, with the merchant name covered if you prefer.
You do not need a year of exports, a payroll file, or a profit and loss that has been smoothed. Those come later, and only if the first receipt shows a line that has no home. A video call is enough. We do not ask you to drive the receipt anywhere.
What the hour is, and what it is not
The hour is a look at the items. We will say which of them is pointing at income when it should point at a liability, and which alcohol amount belongs on its own filing instead of the sales tax center. An audit, a review, and a compilation stay outside the hour, and that work is pointed to a firm that can sign it. Payday is not run on the call. No price is quoted before the objects are counted, and no count of weeks is promised.
A calendar that does not paint still leaves the footer number. That number is this practice, and the receipt is what you name. Say which item on the daily receipt looks wrong. The person who answers is the practice that would prepare the return after the months agree. Opening the calendar, or reading about the hour, does not begin the engagement. A signed letter does, and only after the scope is written down.
Bring the receipt you already have. If you have two and cannot choose, bring the Saturday. That is usually the night the drawer and the bank disagree, and one disagreement is enough to see the shape.
